Instructions for Authors
Committee members of TEMSCON2017 invite researchers and engineers of all technology and engineering management disciplines to submit their original manuscripts for regular tracks and Special Sessions. We welcome submissions from industries and across academic fields including but not limited to engineering, management, and entrepreneurship.
For those experienced with the IEEE papers just submit the paper, by track athttp://edas.info/N22503.If you have problems or errors in your submission please contact help@edas-help.com to correct these matters. The Chairs cannot correct matters or upload papers for you.
Papers can be submitted for any of Technical Tracks or Special Sessions. Special Sessions are organized by the initiative of a person or a group of researchers for dealing with very specific and emerging topics. If you are interested in proposing a Special Session, please follow the instruction on the page related to Special Sessions.
Authors must submit their manuscript electronically on the Web-based manuscript submission and peer-review tracking system. Manuscripts should be within the fields of interest of the IEEE TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT SOCIETY and should report on new results and previously unpublished material. TEMSCON2017 Call for Papers includes a detailed list of tracks and topics on which the conference program has been organized.
Authors should pay particular attention to documenting their work in relationship to the known literature.
All authors are advised to be familiar with IEEE guidelines before submitting their manuscript, including the IEEE Policy on Plagiarism and on Double Submission. The Technical Program Committee will verify the originality of submitted manuscripts by using CrossCheck, which is an antiplagiarism software, comparing submitted papers with previously published work worldwide. Manuscripts that violate IEEE’s publication principles will be immediately rejected. If the violation is deemed severe, then disciplinary actions may also be taken by IEEE.
Paper Format, Length, Template
Submitted manuscripts for IEEE TEMSCON2017 should be in PDF, US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) double column format with a maximum length of six (6) pages including figures and references. Up to two (2) extra pages are permissible with an additional fee (US150/page) paid at registration time. Each accepted paper will require the payment of a regular (no student) registration fee. Total file size for each submission cannot exceed 10 MB.
The formats and templates information is the standard conference template on the IEEE web at http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html(Microsoft Word, US Letter). Each author listed on page one of the manuscript is encouraged, also, to add a brief 100 word biography about themselves at the end of the manuscript, following the References section. Submissions can be in PDF or LaTeX. The PDF format can be created from a word processor such as MS Word. The open source editor LyX is suggested for best LaTeX quality with the minimum editing effort thanks to its very easy and effective visual interface. Stunning graphics can be obtained using Inkscape, an open source Scalable Vector Graphics software. You may use LyX, Inkscape, OpenOffice, Jabref (a useful tool for managing bibliographic material) and other Open Source software through a cloud server: RollApp. Templates prepared by IEEE, and some other useful information, can be found on the link above for the IEEE web. Authors must adhere to the IEEE Conference written paper format refererenced above. They must submit a draft version of their paper for review before the due submission deadline (see “Important dates”). In order to avoid potential problems during last few days before a deadline, all Authors are strongly encouraged to submit their papers well in advance. All papers must be submitted through the submission system, which is entered from on the link http://edas.info/N22503. There the author must login (if they have an EDAS account) or create an account with their basic information. There is no fee for this author account.
IEEE is very strict about the requirements for PDF files for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, but formal control is needed only during final submission of accepted papers; therefore, IEEE PDF eXpress® service is not available for draft version of papers, but will be in place for use for the final submission of papers. Please use the template noted above to create your paper, without modifying style and/or format.
Accepted papers that are copyrighted to IEEE and presented at the conference by at least one of the authors will be will be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, once it meets the requirements of an IEEE quality review.
During paper submission, Authors could be required to insert some personal information (CV or Bio, photo, expertize, etc.): this information will be used to improve the review process and later for registration purpose and for some other functions strictly related to conference management (CV or Bio will be used by Session Chair to introduce you before presentation, photo for preparing your badge and program etc.). All these data will be managed in term of laws.
