TEMSCON 2019 Sponsorship FAQ

 

  • What is TEMSCON 2019?

The International Conference of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMSCON), our flagship event, has been based in North America since its inception in 2017. This year it will be held 12-14 June 2019, with a tutorial presented 11 June 2019.

  • What is IEEE?

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. It includes more than 422,000 members in more than 160 countries across the world.

  • What is TEMS?

The Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS) is one of 39 technical societies within IEEE focused on a specific field of interest. TEMS members focus on the management sciences and practices required for defining, implementing, and managing engineering and technology.

  • Where will TEMSCON 2019 be hosted?

TEMSCON 2019 will be hosted by the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) at their Headquarters and Conference Center.

  • What is the layout of the venue?

The GTRI Conference Center is not located in a hotel. TEMSCON 2019 will be in a single contiguous area consisting of three meeting rooms, an auditorium, and a single-entry foyer area which will serve as a gathering space and food service area

  • Where will my exhibit table be placed?

All exhibit tables will be place in the foyer area, right in the middle of the activity.

  • How many people will attend TEMSCON 2019?

The organizing committee of TEMSCON 2019 expects there to be approximately 150-200 attendees at the conference. In addition, there is will be a joint presentation on June 14, the last day of the conference, combining the TEMSCON attendees and GTRI employees at a bi-weekly GTRI Friday Morning Seminar (FMS), which typically draws 150-200 people on its own.
