TRANSPORTATION
Chicago has 2 airports — O’Hare is much closer and easier to use. To get from O’Hare to Evanston, best to take Uber or Lyft or cab, as there is no direct public transportation between O’Hare and Evanston. A rental car is not needed. Evanston is very walkable, and public transportation to Chicago’s sites is excellent (Metra North line, CTA Purple line).
